Configuration intake
Include the measured watt demand, input voltage, desired runtime, rack or tower preference, outlet needs, network management expectations, and any exact models already under review.
A useful brief distinguishes measured watts from nameplate totals and identifies whether the objective is short-disturbance ride-through, orderly shutdown, or generator transition. Note loads with high startup demand, active power-factor correction, waveform sensitivity, or dual inputs. For rack installations, include usable rack units, cabinet depth, airflow direction, rail constraints, and output connections.
Add site classes, common loads, local voltages, service ownership, and deployment schedule so the review can address repeatability.
Operational facts matter as much as capacity. Explain who receives an on-battery event, who can enter the room, how maintenance windows are approved, and whether network, USB, or dry-contact communication is expected. For an existing unit, include the exact model, serial reference, alarm or error code, connected load, battery age, ambient conditions, and recent event history. Never submit passwords or security credentials.
